The Coach House is the largest of our three beautifully restored holiday cottages on the historic Cadhay Estate in Ottery St Mary, East Devon, making it the perfect choice for spacious and memorable family breaks. Overlooking the Manor House and set within the kitchen garden with its magnificent allotments, this charming cottage offers a tranquil setting where families can relax, unwind, and enjoy quality time together.

Sleeping up to six guests in comfort and style, The Coach House features three generously sized bedrooms, including a twin room, a double room, and a flexible third bedroom that can be arranged as either a super king or twin.

Each bedroom benefits from its own en-suite bathroom, making it ideal for multi-generational family holidays or groups seeking both privacy and convenience. Outside there is a grass paddock for children to play and there is space within the allotments for alfresco dining or just enjoy an evening drink.

Spring awakening

Peace and tranquility set the scene for this beautiful location. Spring is slowly waking at Cadhays with the daffodils in abundance waving in the breeze. The Coach house is spacious yet has managed to retain the charm of being cosy. A lovely week and we had sunshine a real bonus.

Daughters 50th Birthday

Staying at The Coach House at Cadhay was simply incredible..everything we needed and extremely warm and comfortable..you feel as if your in the heart of the countryside surrounded by sheep but the town of Ottery St Mary is walking distance ..or 5mins in a car and the city of Exeter 12miles.. I will most certainly book this cottage again.

Most relaxing second visit

It was great to see the allotments and gardens looking so wonderful after such a challenging summer. The property is light, spacious and quiet.

What a fabulous place to stay. The accommodation is spacious and very comfortable. The location is excellent for exploring the local area. We loved the walled garden and enjoyed sitting outside taking in the view.
